The S-Class offers you an entirely new music experience in the form of the optional Harman Kardon® LOGIC 7® surround sound system, which turns listening to music in the S-Class into a mobile concert experience.

The basis for the system’s outstanding sound quality is the 13-channel DSP amplifier, via which the music is distributed at 600 watt to 14 high-performance loudspeakers, positioned to ensure a surround sound experience for every seat – something to which Dolby Digital 5.1 also contributes.

As a world first, the surround sound system can play the latest media and music formats such as DVD Audio and DTS in full digital quality. DTS is short for Digital Theatre System, which is also used in state-of-the-art cinemas. A processor controls the optimum playback of the sound tracks and sound effects. The system thus covers the whole dynamic range of a recording and reproduces even the finest subtleties.
