Enjoy the full range of entertainment options at your fingertips with the optional Audio 50 APS or the COMAND APS control and display system. Audio 50 APS combines radio, MP3 player and a DVD navigation system; COMAND APS adds to the two entertainment functions with a hard-disk-based navigation system with dynamic destination guidance. Thanks to the new NTG 2.5 telematics generation you enjoy features such as improved screen graphics on the 6.5-inch colour display, which you can use to operate all the functions. As an alternative you can use the optimised LINGUATRONIC voice-operated control system to operate the audio and navigation devices with spoken commands. LINGUATRONIC is already integrated in COMAND APS.

Ultra-modern TFT technology ensures pin-sharp brilliant images and colour reproduction. So you can watch films on DVD and even watch television with the optional TV function – while the vehicle is parked up of course. For safety reasons this function is automatically restricted when the car is in motion.
