Today it is just one of many components of PRO-SAFE™, the integral safety concept, which edges us ever closer to our vision of accident-free driving.

PRO-SAFE™ classifies automobile safety into four phases: in the safe driving phase, the vehicle helps the driver to identify critical situations promptly and handle them safely. In the second phase, in the event of danger, numerous preventive measures can be activated to reduce the risk of injury. In the event of an accident, the occupants can benefit from effective protection provided by the comprehensive range of passive safety systems. After an accident further measures come into play, e.g. to facilitate easier rescue.
