The optionally available COMAND APS control and display system not only guides you to your destination, it entertains you as you go. It features a navigation system plus an integral radio and CD player. It also lets you operate the optional Harman Kardon® Logic 7® surround sound system, the CD changer and the telephone. The navigation system works with the Global Positioning System (GPS) and a DVD on which the European road network is stored.

An additional service offered in Germany and some other European countries is dynamic route guidance. It uses traffic information provided by radio stations to guide you around tailbacks where there is an alternative route.
