The V6 diesel engine in the CLK 320 CDI provides both power and economy. But you won’t be hearing much from it, as it keeps a very low profile in terms of noise and fuel consumption. On the other hand, its output of 165 kW (224 hp), and torque of up to 510 Nm (in conjunction with the 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission) are conspicuously high and make for impressive performance. In addition, the CLK 320 CDI is fitted as standard with a diesel particulate filter, which appreciably reduces soot emissions.
