Mercedes-Benz Stylo Fashion Festival

21 March 2008 - The inaugural STYLO KL Fashion Festival 08 was held from March 15 to 23 as one of the eight main events to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Formula One race in Malaysia.

The festival features day fashion shows, evening fashion shows and after-parties throughout the week. The much-talked about event had showcased some of the most innovative and stylish wear and accessories from our local designers.

Together with STYLO, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia presented the Mercedes-Benz STYLO Fashion Awards 2008 to the nation's top designers at the main highlight of the festival – The Grand Finale.

Public personalities, corporate figures, and fashionistas were dressed to kill as they graced the red carpet finale held at the Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. It was a stunning and glitzy event.

On the catwalk, apart from fashion showcases by various designers, prestigious awards were given out to those who had contributed to the local fashion industry in their own way. Guests were then ushered to a masquerade after-party.

This gives Mercedes-Benz an excellent platform to showcase our design credo of creating fashionable, yet timeless designs for new and innovative cars, like the Mercedes-Benz E280 AMG Sports Package and the trendsetter four-door coupe Mercedes-Benz CLS, displayed at the event.

This exciting “Power Meets Fashion’ event enables us to establish even stronger ties between our brand and the world of fashion here in Malaysia and our commitment to support the local fashion scene.
