TrueBlueSolutions is the sustainability strategy of Mercedes-Benz which we are using to pursue the goal of emission-free mobility. One component of this package is BlueEFFICIENCY, and it is used in E 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY.

The goal of BlueEFFICIENCY is to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions – which means it could already meet the future EU 5 emissions standard today. A few methods for achieving this goal include intelligent energy management in various vehicle components, optimised combustion engines and tyres optimised for rolling resistance.
